Sub-Boards

The area at the very center of Metropolis, a simultaneous holy place as well as the resting place of the noblemen and royalty. It boasts a highly decorative exterior, standing the tallest of any buildings within the city, and within it are high arches, large meandering rooms, and a series of floors with several rooms inside, from rest-room to bed-room to dining and activity rooms. As this is a castle, it is used for the delegation of official matters within Stomend's kingdom, and as such it's a place of incredible importance. Angels are painted within the archways to help signify peace within this building.

The library is a rather large building; though not quite boasting the cathedral's sheer mass, it's still a hot second place contender. This is because it is lined to the brim with books, with archways that aren't too different from the main room of the cathedral. The walls are filled to the brim and there's even a sliding ladder just for how jam-packed it is and how high up the books can go. The shelves don't only line the walls, either; there are several that act as dividers within the main room. The building ducks downward, with a desk entry where the librarian sits and can be talked to for assistance at any time.

Chat Noir

So-called, of course, because it is the street that is the largest and is dominated by the most buildings and fanfare. This is the street that leads into the castle in the center, up to its shiny, pearly doors. There is an array of residences here, though further along away from the castle are shops where people sell their wares as well as general hang-outs for cityfolk.

They go by various names. These streets are the streets that aren't Main Street; they aren't as fancy, and some of them have the beginnings of cars as well as horse-wagons trudging along them, getting people from place to place. They can be long, they can be short, and they can have alleyways. Generally most residencies are along these streets, although there are other shops and the like that can be found here too, albeit not as fancy as Main Street's. There's a water fountain that can be found along one of them which is a good indicator of where you are in the city, as it's where the streets connect to Main Street.

This street connects to the factories, and it's very easy to tell. Dimmer and darker looking than other parts of the city as well as the most plagued with smog, this street boasts imposing steel walls and factories that can be worked at for the average man who's not sitting on a cushy nobleman outfitter. People who work here do work rather long hours to make sure they make up enough of a fortune.

Board Information & Statistics

The chief city within Stomend's kingdom, it is the largest city and the most industrial. There are paths both for early-build cars as well as horse wagons that allow people to travel about the city. It's rather expansive, boasting several streets and lines of apartments as well as richer-owned houses lining them. Metropolis is one big circle, with a cathedral-esque castle in the very center and roads stretching out from there. There is also a train station that can be used to navigate the city or even to go to other places within the kingdom of Stomend and beyond.
