Normally, when one thinks of an oasis, they are met with a dry, barren desert with a spot of water that allows for life. In Arus, however, the term "oasis" refers to the speck of land surrounded by water that keeps them afloat and gives them a chance at survival. The people in this society have truly made a life for themselves, and have proven to be quite successful. Oasis, the town atop the sea of Arus, is made entire out of wood, and it has been that way for as long as any of the new inhabitants of Kindra can remember. With constant upkeep, the civilization that started out as a couple of connected rafts has turned into a full town capable of self sufficiency.

The only spot of land in the entirety of Arus; Serenity island is Oasis's main center of resources, besides the fish. Every year, when the ocean brings them back annually back around, the citizens will discover that new crops have been given to them, naturally growing on this island, able to be cultivated. A freshwater stream can also be found, though the frequent rainfall here guarantees their water supply remains supportable. Serenity Island's beautiful foliage is also collected in order to make crafts and trinkets by the townspeople. Wild game can be found here as well, such as boars, small predators and shellfish. The island is surrounded by waters far more calm than that of Arus' ocean, and has been named Serenity Bay.

Off the coast of Serenity Island and just past Serenity Bay to the west, there is a visible drop off. Some say that on the ridge of rock there is an entrance to a deep cave, one that stretches inward back toward the island. No one has, of course, ever traversed this cave, but it's rumored that at the end of it is a dry pocket of rock with precious metals ready to be harvested and traded. Without the proper technology, no normal person has ever had the chance to go in and explore to truly find out.
