Adrien pushed open the door to the library, peeking his head in to check his surroundings. It was ... fancy. Well, by his standards and what he usually thought of libraries. He hadn't frequented many since he had information available at his finger tips in Paris rather literally. His phone had more information than a library, but he didn't have his phone here. He wasn't sure it would work other than for a flashlight until it died. So, he was going to have to learn how to make proper use of a real library. Slowly, he stepped all the way in. He heard a small complaint of being jostled from the cat kwamii in his pocket but ignored it. The only thing the blond teen had to worry about was not grabbing too many books and resting them all against his chest as he walked. He could risk squishing the little being since he only had two friends in this strange world. Having Ladybug near was helpful, but only when they were both in costume and could communicate with their weapons that doubled as phones here. But once they were out of costume, then all he had was Plagg. He sighed and cleared his throat, wandering further into the large building, staring up at the rows of books. There was so much here. How did anyone find anything in a place like this? Green eyes flicked from shelf to shelf, seeing small labels on the ends of bookcases to let him know that he was looking at the science section, and across from that, the fiction. Yes, both of those sounded like they described where he was pretty perfectly. Stomend felt like a lot of science fiction to him. Neither were what he was looking for though. His brow pinched as he tried to figure out what he was looking for. One would be a way to keep himself afloat here on his own. Kids didn't exactly have the best options on thriving by themselves to his knowledge, though whoever Ladybug was had found a way. So, that must mean he could do it as well. He also wanted to find a way home, but dimensional travel was far fetched just thinking about it. Then again, so was a small being able to possess a ring and change the wearer into a cat hero. Or evil butterflies able to create villains. Okay, so maybe he wouldn't sound completely crazy asking about such difficult travel, but he should start with making it more than a week or two on his own. The science behind finding their way home would take a lot longer than that to figure out. Adrien stopped by a long wooden table, the protective coat giving the dark stain a beautiful shine. Hello? Is someone here?" He called into the still air of the library. He was probably upsetting someone's quiet reading time, but he wasn't about to get lost among the shelves and cases trying to find someone. A moment's disturbance for someone else so he could quietly ask advice was a much better option. | The Cat's Meow many n/a |
