You better stay clever if you want to survive Ears twitched as he stepped into the nightclub, the music pulsing through the air. It took everything in him not to curl his lip in disgust. Music was something he wasn't fond of after nights and nights of having to listen to Demyx strumming on his sitar. Still, it wasn't his call and he would deal with it. Saix exhaled harshly, exasperated, before he started forward through the crowd.; Golden eyes glinted in the dim light of the club, and his gait was like a predator as he slipped between people. The crowd parted like water in front of him only to close again behind him. He was here enough that most people were aware to stay out of his way, and the ones that didn't know found out quickly enough. A few people nodded their head at him in greeting, other members of the Unseen that kept themselves hidden within the crowd, and Saix didn't return the gesture. Not that they minded. It was common for him not to bother with such pleasantries. Reaching the door that led to the basement, Saix let out a sigh of relief as the music became more of a dull sound behind him. At least now he could think without his head feeling like it was going to split in two. There was a brief pause in his stone facade as he raised a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, his stride never slowing. He'd memorized the twists and turns of the halls beneath the club by the second day that he'd been here. It was far less confusing than the Castle had been and posed no challenge to him whatsoever. Saix's stride didn't slow until he reached his destination. A brow rose briefly at the man stationed outside, and it wasn't long before he shifted uncomfortably under the golden gaze of the Diviner. Eventually, the door was opened, Saix didn't bother with a second glance before he was stepping inside the room. Silence stretched out between himself and the woman before him, before finally, he spoke. "It's been done." It was simple, short, but then all of his responses tended to be. Saix didn't see the need to color his words or dance around the subject. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

She's on the dark side Reduced tension.
“Good. Alabaster needed to be put in his place. If he decides that you weren't intimidating enough and wants to dip his fingers into the coke, I'll personally deliver a message. We'll have to look for another runner, but ah… that shouldn't be a problem.”
A chuckle from Inia as she stood from her red lounge chair, grabbing the strange red and orange swirling drink she was sipping on, motioning to Saix to follow her, “Granted, you're typically effective. The idiots who originally gave me that issue are dead. Some people just can't handle getting shot these days.” a bored tone was underlying this as she moved through another door with a hall, heels clicking on smooth black tile.
She extracted a key from her pocket, unlocking the door at the end and moving through. They had entered a lavish living room, which she moved through to the connecting kitchen, setting her drink on the counter and hopping up onto it, letting her heels slip off her feet. Here there was no sound that anything was around the apartment. After a moment she smiled, an unkind looking thing on her face, and watched him.
“have you heard any word about the shipments that vanished? Or did Alabaster just deny that even happened?”

You better stay clever if you want to survive Saix was silent as Inia spoke, but his golden gaze was ever alert. A brow raised slightly, choking down a snort. He was quite certain that Alabaster would not be back anytime soon if ever. He'd made it perfectly clear that his actions were unacceptable and that any other actions would be met with a less than desirable outcome. A few sharp words and broken bones were all it took to get his point across. Saix was good for these jobs because no amount of begging could sway him. Without a heart, mercy and sympathy were foreign concepts to him. Turning he followed Inia through the room without a word. Most found her rise to power as unnerving, wrong, and yet he was quite content with it. Inia didn't make him want to roll his eyes every five seconds, and she was someone he didn't mind getting behind. Slipping into the role as her Second was natural to him. "He claimed to have no information on it," Saix spoke once he came to a stop in front of her. His golden gaze remained fixed on hers, unblinking. He knew his place, but he wasn't a submissive personality either. "But I persuaded him to reconsider his stance. Unfortunately, they are out of our reach. The police took custody of them...and then after that they had...disappeared."MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

She's on the dark side
Inia's face switched to a pained expression as she ran her hand over the shaved portion of her head, letting out a slow breath of air and shaking her head a bit, "Well, at least it wasn't one of the larger shipments, but damn... I'm gonna have to get my secretary to contact our guy and let him know it's going to be later that he gets that shit. Hopefully he won't mind too much since I gave him extra this past time, but junkies are crazy."
She chuckled a bit, bringing her drink up to her lips again and taking a thoughtful swig of the strong liquor. She'd had a shipment go missing before and thought nothing of it, but there was no way that the police department was unintentionally losing her cocaine. It was cocaine. If they were losing it, someone seriously needed to go back to the academy and learn how to fight crime correctly. This thought nearly made her choke on her drink, but she was more tactful than that.
"So you went to that meeting with the Main Street crew, while I went to the Promenade meeting. How did they seem to feel about the idea of LSD? The Promenade folks were too... Uptight. I think I might not pitch anything else to them. They're enjoying their nose candy too much, I guess." a sigh as the prospect of drugging rich people more heavily in a hallucinogenic state was shot out of her planning stage earlier than she had hoped. Granted, she had gotten annoyed with one of the buyers and blown up somewhat. It was a learning experience.

You better stay clever if you want to survive Saix had his suspicions of where their shipments had gone after leaving in the police's hands but getting to the culprit had been less than successful. Some of the other crime groups were more open and obvious than some while others remained hidden. One in particular was extremely talented in staying hidden, and any attempt to contact them was met with a polite and yet equally threatening disproval. It was something he would look into later, personally, but other things needed his attention. Not to mention diving into unknown territory without information was not a good plan. Briefly, his mind went to Axel. The redhead had always been good a recon and getting information in areas that they may not need to be. Their meeting had gone...better than expected and he made a mental note to persuade the Flurry to look into this, with force if necessary. Saix was drawn out of his thoughts once Inia asked him another question, and he raised a brow. "They were...intrigued. However, I believe they will attempt to renegotiate terms. Something that I can easily dissuade them from doing if necessary." It was always the same with these dimwitted thugs. The ones that thought they could bully their way through everything. It was almost amusing to watch. Especially when he took the backseat and Inia took the reins. "If you would like me to proceed I will immediately."MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

She's on the dark side
Inia looked pensive as she tilted the rest of her drink down her throat, setting the heavy glass down with a clack on the marble counter top. “I think I'll go with you. Can't let you have all the fun.” she chuckled, opening a drawer with a key and bringing out a bag with small pieces of paper in it. These slips of paper were in fact drugs, with a strange symbol stamped onto each piece. This she shoved into her pocket as she retrieved a cigarette pack that was previously occupying said pocket. She paused to set a stick in her mouth, moving the pack to another pocket as the tabacco seemed to catch fire on its own, her lungs sucking in smoke before exhaling heavily through her nose. She moved around the counter and past him, her demeanor shifting to something dangerous as she paused at the door. She reached over, grabbing the shot gun hanging in a rack next to said door and a box of ammo. She glanced at Saix, “Just in case. I really want this deal to go through.” She opened the door, holding it for Saix before letting it fall closed, the lock clicking automatically. She moved ahead, determination in her stride, shot gun at her side. They moved fairly quickly through the underground, music becoming louder before she veered down another hall. As she walked her face seemed to undergo some kind of slow shift from casual to annoyed to angry. “See, with the Main Street crew, these fucks, I can afford to go through some of their heads. But damn if I don't want put a slug in the heads of those yuppies.” she let out a breath through her nose slowly again, cigarette smoke billowing from her nose. At the end of this hallway was another door, though it had two guards, one on either side. When they saw Inia’s expression they quickly moved to open the doors for the pair to flawlessly enter the large garage, full of cars, vans, and other vehicles belonging to the syndicate. There was a moment of pause before she made her way to the car she decided to drive ; a black Koenigsegg Agera R. The doors opened automatically for them, Inia climbing into the driver seat. She always left her keys in her cars here, it being a fortress to get in and out of. “I suppose I'll have to talk them into it. Hopefully they don't do something stupid.” she set her shotgun behind her seat before climbing in, the car rumbling to life.

You better stay clever if you want to survive A smirk curved his lips as Inia declared she was coming with him. To be honest, he had expected nothing else. Unlike Xemnas, Inia didn't mind to get her hands dirty, and in fact, sometimes she preferred it. It certainly made things more interesting. Especially since he knew that she didn't need the gun that she took with her. She had everything she needed to intimidate people in that tiny frame of hers. Saix followed her through the halls, chuckling darkly. He had no doubt that there would be at least some blood shed tonight. They were idiots that used more brawn than brain and he wouldn't be surprised if they tried to make Inia see their side of things. It was sure to be entertaining. As the door to the garage came into view, Saix nodded his head at the two guards as he passed through behind Inia. A sigh escaped his lips at the car that Inia chose but he didn't say anything. He wasn't used to this particular mode of transport just yet and besides that Inia's driving normally left him with a headache and a queasy feeling in his stomach. Not that it was ever noticeable, he had better control of his facial expressions than that. "Talking isn't their strong suit...stupidity, however, they excel at." Saix commented, pulling the seatbelt across to buckle, something else he'd come to realize was a necessity when riding with Inia. "But it won't take much to get them to fall under your command. They are weak and pathetic." MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
